I think the site is worth spending time on because it is exploring important issues
- Many Scientists believe that humans are likely to destroy their own civilisation in the next 100 years. Is this inevitable? If so, is it because of something about human beings or is it that the civilisation they have created has fatal flaws?
- Is materialism unavoidable? A most important reason given for the danger to the future of our civilisation is that we seem to want more from our planet than we really need.
- Is Art a Means of Communication? If so:
- Can it work for anyone, even if, say, you can’t draw, play a musical instrument or write very well, and
- Is combining art forms more effective than using them on their own? This appears to be true about theatre, film etc. What if the images are abstract and the sounds not part of a composition?
I do not have the answers to these questions. Hopefully these, and others that might follow are ones worth asking. Hopefully, too, by responding to the site you will be able to help me understand better what the right answers might be.
